The NORDBORG 40 is a boat that appears remarkably slim and elegant, graced by its low freeboard and classic lines. NORDBORG 40 has a fibreglass superstructure that can be cladded in mahogany if the customer prefers. The long water line and slender keel make it a swift touring yacht with fine speed potential. The hull, deck, rigging and fittings are all top standard and dimensioned so the boat can handle any strain. A crew of 1 or 2 persons can easily sail the NORDBORG 40 under all conditions.

The atmosphere below deck is high-quality and pleasant - a familiar feature of other NORDBORG pleasure craft. All the fittings are the result of meticulous craftsmanship at the shipyard. Mahogany is the standard fitting, though other kinds of wood are also available, if preferred. There are no visible fibreglass surfaces in the boat.

The boat also offers abundant stowage compartments that easily accommodate things like folding bicycles, life rafts, a rubber dinghy and other equipment.

Like other NORDBORG vessels, the NORDBORG 40 is outfitted with a wide range of standard equipment including a mainsail with through-going battens, roller genua, Lazy-Jacks, sprayhood and boom tarpaulin, log, echo sounder, GPS, diesel heating, icebox with cooling unit, land power supply, cockpit table, teak deck (solid planks on deck, deckhouse roof and in the cockpit, applied using vacuum without stoppers or screws) and much more.
All things considered, the NORDBORG 40 is a beautiful, intelligently designed boat with many fine details. It is seaworthy everywhere and easy and simple to sail, even by a small crew.
